The role will manage the Production Quality function which includes Incoming QA, In Process, Final QA, RMA, First Article and failure analysis with the overall objective of ensure every product produced exceeds our quality requirements. The manager will provide clear guidance for this area to the company overall by ensuring clear policies, procedures, instructions, forms, and objectives are provided. This role will coordinate objectives and strategies with other leaders of the company so that high level objectives are met.

Sr. Manager, Production Quality
Essential Functions:
Manage all the workflow and quality production including incoming QA, first article approval, In process, and Final QA. In addition manage the RMA and failure analysis functions. Update process as appropriate or creation where deficient.
Gather and analyze defect data to provide yield metrics for continual improvement projects. Analyze workflow, yields, manpower requirements, production restraints and quality issues to identify potential problems and develop solutions to continually improve the operations.
Create/update SAP inspection plans based on new product introduction (NPI) or sustaining engineering change orders (ECO). Provide SAP support with regard to the QM module and functions.
Provide guidelines and methods for in-process inspection and training of Production personnel.
Work cross functionally with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Field Operations, and Service organizations for day-to-day issue resolution.
Supervise several direct reports including all aspects of day to day employee management of the team.
Manage the correct staffing level with a mix of permanent and temporary employees..
Coach and mentor employees to instill best practices and promote personal and career development.
Additional Functions:
Support the Quality Department objectives and goals by managing or participating in Quality projects.
Manage and/or participate in CAPA projects as required.
Act as a liaison between Quality and other Omnicell functional departments.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
Demonstrable knowledge of Quality in a high tech manufacturing environment with medical device and other products which includes Hardware and Software complexities.
Demonstrable knowledge of Quality processes and tools
Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite.
Competence in using ERP, CRM, and PLM systems (SAP, Siebel, and Agile PLM experience a plus).
Demonstrated leadership ability as well as excellent organizational, listening, and verbal / written communication skills.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 and quality methodologies such as SPC, Six Sigma, etc.
Experience in working within a warehouse and production line environment.
Comprehension of engineering drawings and specifications.
Demonstrated success in applying quality problem solving methods such as fishbone diagrams, FMEA, process capability analysis, 8D methodologies, CAPA, DoE, SPC, etc.
Strong team player with the ability to work cross-functionally
Minimum level of education:
Engineering bachelor’s degree required (ME/EE/IE ) or equivalent
Engineering MS degree or equivalent is preferred
Six Sigma certification and other quality certifications are preferred
Minimum 5 years or more of high tech manufacturing experience
Minimum of 5 years of people management experience.
