JOB REQUIREMENTS: Green Bay Dressed Beef Processing, an American FoodsGroup company, has opportunities for a Maintenance Mechanic I at ourEast River Plant in Green Bay, WI. As our Maintenance Mechanic I, youwill: * Assist higher level mechanics with duties (i.e. servicing,repairing, adjusting and testing machines, devices, moving parts andequipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical principles).* Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery(ex. Grease, change bearings, replace worn parts on machinery) to ensuremachinery runs at 100% in order to meet daily production demand. *Conveyor belt repair and replacement. * Turn off and lock out/tag outequipment when not in use. * Complete required paperwork (i.e.maintenance log and repair logs, etc.). * Notify lead or supervisor ofany malfunctions or repairs needed. * NOTE: this description is notintended to be all-inclusive. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications (Required):* Must be 18 years of age or older. * Must be able to work in theUnited States without sponsorship. * Must be able to work in a varietyof work temperatures warm, hot, humid, cold, wet or with slipperysurfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts withthe use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Must be able toperform the job duties with or without reasonable accommodations. *Must be able to successfully complete training: * Safety. * SafeQuality Food (SQF). * Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). * HazardAnalysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP). * Standard OperatingProcedures (SOPs). * Food defense. Preferred Qualifications: * Priormaintenance experience. * Prior production experience. * Work historyin the last 12 months.
