　　Simon & Schuster is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our Maintenance department at our Distribution Center in Riverside, NJ.

　　Requirements:

　　Knowledge of repairing and adjusting conveyor system (such as lacing and tracking conveyor belts, replacing bearings and sprockets).

　　Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and general electrical issues from 12VDC to 480VAC.

　　Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

　　Knowledge and ability to use a wide variety of mechanics tools and equipment.

　　Ability to follow-up on task, projects and inquiries as needed in a timely and effective manner.

　　Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs and must be flexible to work overtime at any given notice.

　　Must be able to participate effectively as a team member.

　　Ability to operate warehouse equipment (Scissor lift and Boom lift).

　　Communications with management on all maintenance projects and breakdowns.

　　Adhere to safety procedures (Lockout/Tagout) and general work guidelines.

　　Ability to follow instructions and directions.

　　Possess the ability to cut, weld and fabricate.

　　Additional Skills:

　　General HVAC knowledge.

　　General Carpentry skills.

　　General Plumbing skills.

　　SCHEDULED WORK HOURS: Sunday – Thursday 10:00pm – 6:30am
