　　Responsibilities

　　The Linen Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the availability of clean and appropriate linens across various floors of the hospital. This position involves receiving linen bundles from the truck at the loading dock, sorting and distributing them throughout the facility.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Receiving and Unloading:

　　Meet the delivery truck at the loading dock.

　　Receive bundled linens and rolling carts.

　　Inspect and verify quantities against tickets attached to the bundles.

　　Ensure the quality and cleanliness of the linens received.

　　Sorting and Distribution:

　　Sort linens based on floor and type (sheets, towels, patient smocks).

　　Transport rolling carts loaded with clean linens to different floors.

　　Utilize tickets attached to bundles to match and deliver linens to specified closets on each floor.

　　Stock Maintenance:

　　Organize and stock linen closets on various floors in the hospital.

　　Restock shelves and hangers with clean linens as needed.

　　Maintain accurate records of linen inventory on each floor.

　　Quality Control and Compliance:

　　Adhere to hospital standards and protocols for handling and distributing linens.

　　Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of the linen storage areas.

　　Physical Demands:

　　Be prepared for significant walking throughout shifts.

　　Lift, push, and pull linen carts and bundles as necessary.

　　Follow safety protocols for handling heavy loads and operating equipment.

　　if/when scheduled for a Saturday shift, there may be an additional day off during the week
