We’re looking for a Maintenance Lead Engineer for Ivory Coast, who will lead a team that handles onsite maintenance activities to guarantee equipment availability, reliability and performance in line with OEM recommendations and Aggreko Standard Site Operations (SSO ).

What you’ll do:
Ensure quality and timely completion of all the maintenance conducted by his team members.
Ensure that company’s QHSE policies and procedures are followed on sites (LOTO, ESR, Lifting Operations, Tool Calibration, spill prevention, Technician’s PPE, etc.)
Ensure that the site is kept in tidy condition with strong 5S and OPOS (Optimised Project Operations Standards) implementation.
Ensure proper usage of resources (tools, manpower, spares parts).
Provide to maintenance superintendent the reports such as: service reports with comment on the timeline and scope deviations, M21 completion, breakdown survey report with comment and action plan to restore failed units, and any other necessary report.
Ensure proper and optimum usage of sites inventory:
proper booking of parts and consumables,
timely closure of work orders on MMS and M3.
Ensure failure reports are accurately submitted and in a timely manner and follow up with the warranty claims.
Ensure oil sample results are analyses and proper actions taken. Update the tracker accordingly with completed actions.
Ensure employees in his team are properly inducted and developed (coached/trained)
Escalate any issue when required and seek support when needed.
Other responsibilities:
Discuss and set annual objectives for direct reports.
Conduct performance appraisal, follow-up development and training of direct reports.
Work with superintendents on succession planning for the Project.
Assist in the recruitment of local staff where applicable.
Initiate disciplinary procedures where required.
Manage continuous improvement through TPM/CI
Support the maintenance superintendent on onsite product testing, trials.
Provide support to the rest of the team whenever required.
Complete the assigned training for the role.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
Minimum 3 years’ experience on a Power Project environment
Ability to read mechanical and electrical diagrams.
Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
Ability to analyse data of a 4-stroke engine fueled by Gas, HFO or Diesel
Able to understand the operations of plant equipment.
Computer literate (Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams & Outlook essential).
Able to identify employees’ strengths and weaknesses to build a cohesive team.
Have a strong working knowledge of equipment maintenance procedures.
Good oral and written communication skills (English / French).
Ability to withstand pressure.
Strong Leadership skills
Well organized, able to handle multiple tasks in a controlled manner.
Analytical thinking with attention to detail in complex engineering scenarios.
Good interpersonal and personnel development skills.
