DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Establish and enforce standards that will improve ease of automating continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) and release processes. Install and integrate CI/CD tools with other systems, platforms and processes using Shell, YAML and Groovy scripting. Create, monitor and maintain automated build and continuous integration processes to ensure correct build execution. Facilitate resolution of build failures. Install, configure, upgrade, and administer application lifecycle tool. Design and implement tools to automate and measure release engineering processes. Design and implement Puppet-based configuration management and provisioning for new server deployments. Create and maintain multiple test environments. Deploy builds to multiple test, UAT and production environments. Create and maintain documentation of build and deployment systems and processes, as well as development and test environments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as an Infrastructure Engineer, Software Developer/Engineer, Build and Release Engineer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Agile Software Development Life Cycle; Ansible; ANT; certification installation management; CI/CD tools; Docker; GIT; Gradle; Groovy; Jenkins; Kubernetes; Maven; NodeJS; Oracle; PERL; PLM patching; PL-SQL or SQL; Puppet; Shell Scripting; SVN; Unix; Web containers, including Tomcat, WebLogic, Websphere, JBoss, IIS, or webmMethods; and YAML.
