Together we deliver systems all around the world and the markets for our products are constantly growing.Position SummaryListed work hours 3:30 p.m. to Midnight (2nd shift)Training occurs during 1st shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)This position is responsible for the manufacture of parts of low production runs using manual machine tools.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSets up and operates manual machines to complete work orders Ensures precision is maintained in all machining tasks Inspects parts according to policies and procedures Makes and/or modifies tooling if necessary Monitors and records inventory used (tooling, supplies and raw materials) and notifies appropriate personnel Qualifies measuring tools on a daily basis and as needed during the shift Cleans machine, tooling, and parts and performs basic machine maintenance as required Required to perform quality inspection of 1st piece as verified by supervisor or quality technician Complete training requirements for continual technical growth as required Practices good housekeeping and maintains a practical and clean workspace. Assist with training of Manufacturing Associates as applicable Other duties as assignedQualifications and Education RequirementsHigh school diploma and one year machining experience. One year certificate from college or technical school and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to set and use measuring tools.
