About Machinist

　　Allied Personnel Services is seeking candidates for a Machinist opening! This temp-to-hire position offers 2nd shift hours (2p - midnight Monday-Thursday) and $20.00/hr.

　　Responsibilities: 

　　Read and understand specs and drawings to determine final dimensions of finished parts.Secure work piece in fixture.Manipulate controls and enter commands in order to start machine.Observe and listen to machine operation to detect malfunctions.Measure and inspect product for conformance to specifications and quality standards.  Perform minor machine maintenance such as lubricating, cleaning, and removing debris from machine.  Candidates must have experience operating machines, have the ability to read and interpret drawings, and have experience measuring equipment.
