PositionPurpose: The Medical Waste Route Driver CDL A is responsible forservicing assigned accounts in the Tractor Trailer combination unit, inthe most professional way, ensuring that customers\' needs are met on acontinual basis for various waste pickup and supply delivery. Providesthe highest level of customer service possible at all times. Will alsotransport medical waste from either a Stericycle location or customerlocation to a transfer location or processing location. DOT rules andregulations must be upheld at all times. All Company assigned vehiclesare equipped with camera telematics which includes inside and outsidecameras. In addition, all vehicles are equipped with ELD (electroniclogging device) and GPS (global positioning system). Key Job Activities:* Manages assigned routes ensuring customers\' waste is picked up in asafe, timely, and accurate manner. * Pick up and transport medicalwaste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules andregulations. * Plans daily schedule based on customers\' needs byreviewing daily paperwork, e.g., manifest, route sheets, previous VCR,etc. provided by the Transportation Manager/Supervisor or Dispatcher. *Follows routing software route schedule. * May require loading andsecure of material and waste or unloading truck at various customersites or Stericycle locations. * May prepare and load/secure waste intrucks to service select accounts for the day, ensuring enough suppliesare added. * Pick up specified waste from each customer site scheduledfor the day. * Ensures that customers have packaged and prepared thewaste according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulationsbefore transporting. * Provide the highest level of customer service toassigned accounts on a...
