  WHAT YOU'LL DO

  The Onsite Maintenance Engineer will work in partnership with the customer, management team, global helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.

  Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

  Audio System Operation:

  Manage and operate the audio systems in the auditorium, including mixing consoles, microphones, speakers, and other audio equipment. Conduct regular checks and maintenance to ensure all audio equipment is in proper working condition. Event Support:

  Collaborate with event organizers to understand audio requirements and provide technical support during event setup and rehearsals. Execute live sound mixing during events to ensure clear and balanced audio for all attendees. Troubleshooting:

  Identify and resolve audio-related issues promptly during events to minimize disruptions. Work closely with the IT and AV teams to troubleshoot any technical challenges related to audio systems. Collaboration:

  Coordinate with AV technicians, lighting engineers, and other relevant personnel to ensure seamless integration of audio with other technical elements. Collaborate with external audio vendors when necessary. Training and Documentation:

  Provide training to internal staff on the proper use of audio equipment in the auditorium. Maintain comprehensive documentation of audio system configurations and troubleshooting procedures.

  WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  Must-Haves:

  Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues. Personality is especially important for this position; you should enjoy being part of a team. Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner and to solder & crimp connectors Be willing to work on-site every day. Days are generally 8 hours a day but the times vary between 7AM and 7PM Intermediate computer knowledge Knowledge of signal flow for audio, video and control Know your way around large-format digital mixers Have a Dante 3 certificate or equivalent practical knowledge of Dante networking Have experience troubleshooting wireless mics in a live setting Have a thorough understanding of the technical and scientific concepts that make a digital audio system possible, and be able to discuss those concepts with non-technical managers. Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standard Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to regularly climb and work from ladders up to heights of 35 feet; lifting equipment, tools and materials.

  Nice-To-Haves:

  Minimum of 5 of audiovisual integration and/or service experience Formal education in Electronics or related field The following training certifications: AVIXA CTS DANTE 3 Biamp Tesira QSC Qsys

  Minimum Salary: 85000.00Maximum Salary: 95000.00Salary Unit: Yearly
