JOB REQUIREMENTS: Summary of Position: Provide direct nursing care tothe residents and supervises the day to day nursing activities performedby certified nursing assistants and nutritional aides. Supervision mustbe in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards,guidelines and regulations that govern the facility and as may berequired by the Director of Nursing to ensure that the highest degree ofquality is maintained. The LPN works under the direction and supervisionof the registered nurse. An LPN is delegated the administrativeauthority, responsibility and accountability necessary to carry out yourassigned duties. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledgeable of the theory, methods, and techniques of nursing. Abilityto supervise and direct the work of others. Ability to maintaincomposure and cope with stress and frustration, appreciate the dignityof each resident, and keep cultural, social and medical problemsconfidential.
