Oversee the Lobby Ambassador team; interviewing, selection, placement as well as conduct performance appraisals and provide professional development guidance to team members
Development of operating procedures, post orders; provide expert guidance to account management on methodologies to improve service to our customer in accordance with statement of work
Develop and implement training programs; create quality assurance program for lobby/concierge function and implement process improvements to resolve deficiencies
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:
Lead the Allied Universal Lobby Ambassador team
Build relationships with all workplace services business partners involved with Lobby Ambassador program execution and deliverables
Be responsive with business partner needs with a sense of urgency
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
Responsible for training operational staff and having a full understanding of the Lobby Ambassador functions covered at all sites
To lead and motivate direct reports
Develop/coach Lobby Ambassadors to maintainhigh levels of service
Support Company vision, culture and core values through leadership, mentoring and by providing, at all times, a role model for all Lobby Ambassador members
HEALTH AND SAFETY:
Maintain a healthy and safe place of work, ensuring all posts are always in a clean and tidy condition
Ensure appropriate processes are in place so that missing, damaged or unserviceable equipment are reported
Cooperate with the client so that the company can carry out its statutory duty under Health and Safety at work etc. Act 1974, and all relevant statutory provisions
Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse any property, equipment IT hardware or systems in the interests of health, safety and welfare
Involved in the SERT (Site Emergency Response Team) to assist with site emergencies as needed
OTHER DUTIES:
Required to Provide break relief as needed for Santa Clara Lobby Ambassadors
Be aware of policy and procedures owned and changed from time to time by ServiceNow
To positively participate in the Staff Welfare and Development
Carry out all other duties as required
Undertake training courses as identified by the business for personal development and professional growth and for the betterment of service provision to the customer
Providing and supporting day to day business functions in relation to the Lobby Ambassador program
Maintaining badging standards and training personnel involved in global badging operations
Resolving badge user interactions in relation to issues involving access controls (user issues, badge issues, system hardware/software issues) or escalating to the appropriate resolver groups as required
Ensuring that all audit related communications and documentation are professional, confidential, clear, accurate, and complete
Effectively utilize the Visitor Management System (VMS) to ensure a smooth check-in process
Provides excellent customer service, actively engage with each individual
Scheduling and payroll duties for the Lobby Ambassador team
May be required to hold post for a Lobby Ambassador
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess critical thinking and problems solving skills
Must be a proactive hands-on, very customer-focused and results oriented person who is comfortable taking a problem and solving it
Must be able to work effectively with little supervision and with a strong sense of discretion in responding to high priority, urgent task
Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
Must be able to handle emergency situations
Must possess a professional demeanor and have excellent customer service skills
Must be able to multi-task in a dynamic fast-paced environment
Must be able to work independently while also being a team player
High School Diploma
1 year of experience in a corporate office setting
Minimum 5 years customer service-related experience
Minimum 3 years security related experience
Minimum 3 years in a leadership role
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate in a technically oriented environment with all levels of individuals in the organization
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) to produce effective reports
Ability to demonstratea high level of customer service
Ability to identify, educate, manage, and report security risks impacting service delivery
Ability to listen, share, modify information and effectively communicate amongst different stakeholder groups and in varying departments
Ability to consistently demonstrate professional behavior that is responsive to the needs of the client
Ability to motivate, inspire, and influence others
Punctual and outstanding attendance
Indoor and outdoor setting with minimal exposure to extreme weather conditions expected
Major activities include walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing, kneeling, crouching
Physical effort: Walking and standing for long periods of time, may be required to maneuver up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law
