　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　OR Technician Lead

　　We are seeking OR Technician Lead. If you are an experienced OR/Surgical Tech, this is a good opportunity. You will work under the direct supervision of the circulating OR RN. You will use your advanced clinical skills in the care of our surgical patients. You will facilitate the daily operations of the Operating Room ensuring efficiency, teamwork, safety and most importantly quality of care.

　　Duties and Responsibilities:

　　You will assemble supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures.

　　You will prepare sterile instrument table for your procedures.

　　You will assist in positioning patients and preparing patient’s skin for surgery.

　　You will maintain sterile techniques and actively monitor situations that could lead to breaches in sterile technique.

　　During procedures, you will assist the surgical team. This may include passing instruments, sponges and sutures.

　　During procedures you will also assist in the monitoring the patient.

　　After the procedure, you will gather equipment for cleaning and sterilization.

　　Requirements

　　· Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technologist

　　· Experience: Minimum two years previous OR Tech experience is required

　　· Licensure/Certifications: CST Certification required. (NBSTSA) or equivalent

　　· BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required upon hire

　　· Clear communication with the surgical board coordinator, physicians and advance care professionals is essential
