Job Summary:Under the supervision of a physician and the Director of Cardiopulmonary the Respiratory TherapyStudent provides an evaluation of and cares for patients with respiratory insufficiencies consistent with the student'sscope of practice.
Qualifications/Reporting:
Required minimum education:High School graduate or equivalent. Must have completed 12 months ofan AMA approved Respiratory Care program by hire date of position. Must continue in the accredited program to remain in the position.
Required minimum experience:No experience is required.
Required skills (if applicable):Ability to read and write, effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to comprehend and follow verbal or written instructions.
Required license/certification:Healthcare provider BLS is required within 30 days of hire.
Job reports to (title of the position):Director of Cardiopulmonary and any licensed Respiratory Therapist on duty.
