Job descriptionWe are seeking a full-time experienced Lead Irrigation Technician to join our award-winning team. MUST HAVE 2 YEAR MINIMUM IRRIGATION EXPERIENCE for the Lead technician role. Must exhibit a strong work ethic, have detailed knowledge of irrigation techniques, be able to operate heavy machinery when required, and expertly install any sized irrigation system to fit the needs of our clients and promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.

　　Irrigation Technician Responsibilities:

　　Inspecting and loading equipment for the day's work.Driving to the client's location.Ensures spring turn on and winterization of irrigation systemsTesting the soil and vegetation to determine irrigation needs.Mapping out areas for irrigation installationInterpret job specifications and blueprintsDigging trenches and installing pipes and lines.Operate timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers.Installing pumps and electrical timers.Testing the irrigation system.Conducting routine maintenance checks.Troubleshooting and replacing faulty parts.Solve sprinkler issues (wire valves, fix leaks, mend broken sprinkler heads) to make systems work properlyProvide estimates and maintain positive client relationsProvide cost estimates of all repairs and contact vendors to check on availability of parts/supplies.Completing progress reports and associated paperwork.Maintaining the cleanliness, organization and appearance of the work vanInspect daily the equipment and work van for damage and report to shop mechanic for any necessary repairsAbout us
