Job Description

　　Insight Global is looking for a Land Use Planner to join a public client in Boulder, CO. The Land Use Planner will join the Community Planning & Permitting department within their development division and will perform a variety of professional technical and administrative functions in land use planning, development review, and site development work. In addition, the Land Use Planner will meet with customers to conduct pre-application trainings. Additionally, this individual will meet with the development team once a week to present and discuss any new developments, if it meets code, and if it can be approved/passed on to the next step. Lastly, this is a very collaborative team, so we are looking for individuals who are eager to participate, are good team-players, and don't get overwhelmed with a busy work schedule as tasks and projects ebb and flow.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　Bachelor's degree in planning or related field, such as landscape architecture, civil engineering, geography, real estate development, environmental policy, planning or related

　　1+ years of professional experience in urban, rural, regional, transportation, parks, community planning, or other related fields

　　Basic knowledge of theory, principles, and practices of civil engineering and land use planning as well as factors that influence community development in both urban and rural areas null
