Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Engineer (Mechanical Engineer preferred) with general knowledge of engineering and statistical principles in Washington, DC. In this role, you will join a team that is helping the US Navy modernization efforts and build a stronger US Navy.

  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  -Assist the SSDS Hardware Team by collecting and maintaining program metrics and other data to assist the APM in briefings to Senior leadership.

  -Analyze data to determine and report trend analysis.

  -Compile and deliver the team’s weekly progress/program status report.

  -Familiarity with SharePoint and responsible for maintaining the program planner.

  -Assigning, tracking, and providing updates to taskers as assigned by the APM.

  -Managing the program’s HW procurement/delivery schedules

  -Attend team and other meetings, provide meeting notes and action items

  Candidate should have the ability to work independently on these tasks with minimal oversight.

  -Must be A US Citizen and able to obtain a Security clearance

  Junior Engineers must have:

  A) a bachelor's degree in a technical field (this could include, but is not limited to:

  computer science, computer engineering, engineering, engineering management, information science, information systems management, information technology, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management, system engineering), with one (1) year of relevant engineering experience (this could include, but is not limited to experience in systems architectures, designs, development, and test and evaluation), OR

  B) a master's degree in a technical field (this could include, but is not limited to: computer science, computer engineering, engineering, engineering management, information science, information systems management, information technology, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management and system engineering).

  For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
