The position will require individual to follow, create and improve processes and procedures ensuring consistent practices in line with the Global Trade Compliance policies. Expected to possess strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize incoming requests to facilitate movement of goods. The Analyst 1 will be primarily focused on Freight Forwarder auditing, request for information management, export recordkeeping, and Sanctioned Party Release screenings within Rockwell ERP systems, and metric reporting. Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work both independently and effectively with other members of the organization on a variety of international trade compliance matters.Core Tasks and Key ResponsibilitiesPerform Sanctioned Party List Screening within multiple ERP systemsConduct audit on Freight Forwarder export filingsInvestigate flagged parties and perform due diligence checks, including assessment of and procurement for Letters of AssurancePerform export licensing review, assignment, and maintenance in SAP GTSComplete ENC biannual and annual reportingAssess, manage, and prioritize export inbox, responding to questions on licensing, drop shipments, routed transactions, and forwarder inquiriesComplete daily recordkeeping tasks supporting both US regulations and Rockwell company policy for recordkeepingLead training for internal stakeholders regarding drop shipments, routed transactions, and general export shipment requirementsAssist in maintaining export compliance policies, procedures and manuals for both US and CanadaProvide support in connection with internal/external audits and investigationsReview, assess and implement process and procedure changes related to US export regulation changesSkillsMust have excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, ability to learn quickly, work independently with minimal supervision, manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Excellent administrative and organization skills required.
