The internship is intended to help an individual develop their work skills and knowledge while providing a link between their educational goals and career objectives.The goal of this internship is to transition to full-time employment at Tallgrass in the future. The duration of the internships is approximately 12 weeks during the summer.Learn how to:Perform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drivers, and auxiliary equipment.Perform Inspection and Maintenance (I & M) checks on control systems.Maintain electrical switch gear and power distribution.Observe performance of advanced engine/compressor/pump analytical testing.Observe efforts to develop and implement changes as a result of the analytical testing.Observe the evaluation/development/implementation/maintenance of facility grounding systems.Install, analyze, and repair security/intrusion systems.General upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and equipment as needed.Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory and tariff requirements.
