Zions Bank International Banking brings the various aspects of commercial and business lending, asset-based lending, SBA and international trade into a fast-growing segment of the international focus for Community, Commercial, Corporate and Private Banking Clients.
Zions Bank has an opportunity for an intern to work in our International Banking department. The intern will work on or be exposed to the following:
Ensure borrower financial statements are spread and analyzed accurately.
Assist with loan presentations by addressing industry risks, monitoring collateral requirements, loan structure and pricing, etc.
Conduct online research and review financial and market trends in the portfolio.
Assist bankers with new and existing loan requests and other special projects.
Qualifications:
Currently working on a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related degree
Basic working knowledge or interest of financial and spread analysis, credit, lending and underwriting processes and principles.
Knowledge or interest in working with various types of loans, credit risk, legal and regulatory requirements.
Requires strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Detail oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to make sound decisions and be inquisitive – not afraid to ask questions or make recommendations.
Working knowledge of computer software programs including spreadsheets, word processing, etc. Strong excel skills.
This internship is not eligible for relocation assistance. Local candidates preferred.
