DESCRIPTION OF WORKThe Cost Program Manager is responsible for the leadership and performance of the cost estimating program, supporting project teams by providing cost estimating program management and advising project teams in the areas of cost, risk, and constructability.
The Cost Program Manager is a key contributor to DGS Capital Program's pursuit of quality by focusing on operational excellence, nurturing a human centered environment, and adopting continuous improvement thinking, practices, and tools to create an exceptional customer experience.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.Work hours are negotiable withing the office's business hours.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. You will be required to report on-site on Tuesday each week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Six years of professional building design, construction administration, or construction management experience for renovations and new construction for commercial, institutional, or educational buildings, and a bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, construction science, or a closely related field; orAn equivalent combination of experience and training.Necessary Special Requirements:This position requires possession of a valid license as a Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, Professional Land Surveyor, or Professional Geologist by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or a reciprocal jurisdiction; or possession of valid professional level certification issued by a nationally recognized and accredited professional certification program in Master Level of Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).This position requires an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.Additional Requirements:You must be able to perform essential job functions.Preferred Qualifications (not required):Licensed Architect or Engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or a jurisdiction that would allow you to obtain licensure in PACertified Cost Professional from the American Association of Cost Estimators (AACE)Experience in project cost management, estimating construction costs and performing constructability reviewsExperience facilitating meetings, resolving conflict, and promoting collaboration on a project teamExperience developing or negotiating contracts for cost estimating or other servicesExperience using the MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Exce , PowerPoint, One Drive, Share Point, and TeamsHow to Apply:Your application must include a cover letter and resume.You must attach a cover letter and resume to your application for review by the hiring manager.
