  Instructional Developer - Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

Our work depends on Instructional Developer joining our team to create engaging curriculum for the Naval Civil Engineer Corps Officers School (CECOS) at the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering (CSFE) in Port Hueneme, CA.

  HOW AN INSTRUCTIONAL DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  ● Design and develop instructional approaches and interactive courseware to meeting training requirements

  ● Develop training materials, including tasks, learning objectives, content, lesson maps, instructional strategies, learning activities, test items, interface design and controls for Interactive Multi-Media products.

  ● Develop video and audio scripts, storyboards, graphics, and data files. Develop lesson plans, exercise controller guides, on-the-job training handbooks, and student materials.

  ● Develop testing instruments; measure cognitive/psychomotor/affective domains and performance accomplishments during formative and summative evaluations; test achievement at the end of a course of instruction.

  WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  ● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

  ● Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience

  ● Excellent written communication skills area a requirement of employment. The ideal candidate will have experience with various Learning Management Systems, Navy curriculum, and be familiar with NAVEDTRA 130 - 138 series instructions.

  ● Security Clearance Level: Must meet eligibility requirements for an IT Level II Common Access Card (CAC) and access to Government systems, A Secret Clearance

  ● Location: Onsite. Must reside within commutable distance to work at CSFE Port Hueneme, CA

  ● US Citizenship Required

  The likely salary range for this position is $70,800 - $106,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
