Job Title Instructional Design Supervisor

Job Summary : The Instructional Design Supervisor reports to the Learning & Leadership Leader and is responsible for creating, implementing and executing all learning design standards, graphics, and tools. The Learning Design Leader owns the look and feel of all learning artifacts and programs and ensures consistency and quality design to allow for a great end user experience. Manage and executes the ongoing maintenance of all existing learning materials and programs. Conducts assessments on all curriculum and determines and prioritizes curriculum redesign or enhancement. The Learning Design Leader manages and develops a team of Learning and Communications designers that delivers best in class learning materials, programs, and experiences.
Principal Duties:
Design and implement instructional design standards across all learning artifacts, programs, and curriculum.
Establish internal processes for curriculum maintenance and review.
Select or develop learning solutions utilizing appropriate methodologies from instructor led to self-directed learning which may include one or more of the following: content curation, lesson plan for classroom training and virtual training delivery, computer-based training including rapid design, reference materials, job aids, etc.
Work cross functional with the business and Change Management teams to support projects that require a robust learning solution including ILT, VILT, video, and eLearning.
Work cross functionally with the Change Management Team and Operations to test, pilot, and rollout all new learning solutions.
Manage a portfolio of learning projects and prioritize and resource Learning & Communication Designers to appropriate projects. Design learning solutions and artifacts when needed.
Develop and manage a high performing, self-managed team of Learning Communication Designers.
Maintain and enhance knowledgebase and LMS accuracy and methodology.
Ensure all materials are accurate, current and maintained to standard operating procedures. Perform end to end quality checks to ensure accuracy of materials.
Train Program Facilitators on the delivery of new interventions and programs.
Coordinate and/or support training for all areas of the Company as needed.
Create effective evaluations for training programs in order to measure degree of compliance and knowledge transfer; monitor on-going training needs and adjusts training plans/programs accordingly as needed.
Manage multiple training projects and deliver high quality design solutions on schedule as needed.
Identify detailed training requirements and independently develop all required training, documentation, work instruction and support material as needed.
Implement training as appropriate by collaborating with the internal team to ensure materials are elevated to LMS and/or SharePoint as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Lead team and monitor and assess individual work in accordance with high standards of excellence. Provide feedback, coaching, support, opportunities for development, complete performance appraisals, take corrective action when appropriate, and participate in hiring decisions.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Education, or other related field preferred or equivalent experience
3-5 years of experience in Instructional Design and Adult Learning Theory
3 years of experience directly leading a team of Instructional Designers
Demonstrated ability to lead and coach project teams; management experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to design effective associate relations and development programs and measures
Strong PC skills to include Microsoft Office programs, MS Project, Visio and experience with Web Design Applications, Articulate Storyline, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator are highly desired--
