Join our Maintenance Team as an Industrial Inventory & Contract Specialist II! Manage spare parts, tools, and supplies inventory with precision. Leverage your industrial maintenance expertise to coordinate contractors for HVAC, Fire Suppression, Alarm, and more. From calling out contractors to signing off on completed work, you'll be the key player. What you will be doing:
Execute facilities start-up and shutdown routines if necessary
Placing Orders in CMMS
Receiving orders into CMMS
Sourcing Parts and contacting suppliers
Picking up Parts at suppliers
Cycle counting inventory items
Sending and Receiving Emails
Calling and Receiving calls
Meeting with Contractors
Scheduling Contractor Meetings and Service Calls
Organizing inventory and maintenance shop
Accommodating shifting schedules and overtime as needed to meet the needs of the business.
Support plant initiatives conducive to a safe, secure and clean workplace.
Skills you will need:
High School Diploma/GED/Technical School Education
3+ Years of Work Experience in an Industrial Environment
3+ Years of Trade Experience (Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Controls)
Advanced Skill in CMMS
Experience with hand and power tools
Lock-Out Tag-Out Training and Experience
Ability to meet business needs and deadlines reliably
Flexible schedule with call in responsibilities
Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, database and internet-based programs)
Ability to read blueprints
Basic Job required tools
Strong interpersonal skills including email, meeting and presentation skills
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Financial Acumen
Strong project management skills
