DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Pennsylvania Coastal Resources Management Program at the Northwest Regional Office. Based at the picturesque Tom Ridge Environmental Center in Presque Isle State Park, you will have the opportunity to travel within the Coastal Zone boundary and the Lake Erie watershed. Collaborating closely with the Coastal Resource Coordinator, your work will involve assessing the environmental conditions of the Lake Erie shoreline and watershed through a combination of fieldwork and office tasks.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time internship that will last from 5/1/2024 through 8/30/2024Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunchTelework: Interns will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, on a schedule that aligns with their supervisor, so they are in the office on the same days. No full time telework will be approved. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Erie.Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Additional Requirements:This position requires possession of a valid Class C non-commercial driver's license.You must be able to perform essential job functions.
