Auburn Career Center is currently seeking a part time Industrial Electricity Instructor to work in our Adult Workforce Education department. Candidate is technically proficient in electrical laws and theory that desires to use their knowledge and skills. Knowledge in the basic principles of electrical laws and theory, as well as, applications of those laws to actual AC & DC circuit applications. Electronic relay and motor control theory applications. Basics of programmable logic control. Circuit analysis and application emphasized. Ohm's Law, Kirchhoff's Law, Theremins' Theorem and Norton's Theorem applied to basic electric circuits. Some basic algebra and trigonometry taught with application to electrical laws.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of five (5) years of work experienceDemonstrates leadership and classroom experience10-Hour OSHA certification requiredStandards include, but are not limited to, advanced degrees/credentials, recent work experience beyond the initial learning experienceAbility to obtain valid Ohio Department of Education Adult Education PermitPerform other duties as assigned*POSITION: * Industrial Electricity Instructor -- Evening

SALARY: $30/Hour
