Fluidra is seeking a n Inbound/Outbound Supervisor to join the team at our Specialty Products hub in West Valley City, UT.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Logistics and functioning in a shared services environment, the Inbound/Outbound Supervisor position requires a talented, driven, experienced leader who has multiple direct reports, and works closely with management across all Cover Pool areas as a business partner.
T his highly visible role will be responsible for managing the day to day In-Bound and Out-Bound operations, and providing general warehouse support including employee relations, employee training and development, timekeeping management, and employee recognition programs. Incumbent must be able to utilize core skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, communication, influencing and facilitation of initiatives, and effect organizational change. In addition, the Inbound/Outbound Supervisor will work closely with the Sr. Logistic Manager to drive the Company’s organizational values implementation strategy.
The Inbound/Outbound Supervisor will be part of a lean, cohesive, high-performing Logistics team, and will work closely with the Sr. Logistics Manager to develop strategy, define in-bound/Out-bound objectives, set process improvement goals, and lead Logistics projects as needed. Additionally, you will:
Works with cross functional teams to ensure that compliance gaps are addressed
Ensure projects and improvements are implemented within the stated goals and timelines
Create and develop management tools, mechanisms for monitoring projects and key metrics
Interact through program updates and reviews with all levels of management
Review and provide input on the team's deliverables for project completion
Manage the warehouse operations and productivity
Supervise warehouse personnel including hiring, performance management, goal setting, and coaching
Drive performance with employees by providing a positive and equitable work environment emphasizing respect, responsiveness, and achieving desired results
Manage shipping of completed orders Domestically and Internationally
Work with carriers in providing correct shipping documents and reporting lost or damaged freight
Update the Sales team on customer shipment ETA’s
This role would need to implement new or improve existing SQDCI metrics
Work directly with Purchasing to ensure inbound flow of materials is visible and receipt to inventory availability has short lead times

WHAT WE SEEK
6 + years total Distribution experience with progressive roles increasing in responsibility including 2 + years of Distribution Leadership experience managing a multifunctional team
Must be able to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
High Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Previous experience with scheduling deliveries through dispatch
Must have previous shipping experience including processing shipping documents
Safety Management, and inventory control skills
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to read and write, sit, walk within the facility, stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone. They also occasionally move objects, up to 150 lbs. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time over an 8 to12 hour time period . Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
