Job Summary and Qualifications

Imaging Assistant

Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking an ImagingAssistant on a full-time/part-time/PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. As an Imaging Assistant, you will perform various clerical functions as need by Radiology Department leadership and staff. You will also assist the radiologist with various functions of the radiology reading room.

Your tasks and responsibilities as an Imaging Assistant may include but are not limited to:

Prepare multi-viewer for Radiologists

Prepare radiographs for viewing by Radiologist, including previous reports and films

Assist with consultation processes for special procedures with Radiologist

Responsible for film control, correspondence, customer relations, physician relations, answering telephones, filing and calling reports to physicians

Other duties may include assisting physicians, ER and OR with radiographic needs, patient transport and exam room preparation

What qualifications you will need:

High school diploma / GED

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs
