The firm provides Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineering Services to Architects, Building
Owners, Contractors, Industrial, and Governmental entities. Our goal is to strive

We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Designer in our Phoenix, AZ office.
Perform technical analysis and present options and recommendations to resolve
and meet the project requirements. Supervise subordinate designers and drafting
staff. Provide direction and coordination mechanical design for projects in all
assigned categories Health Care, Educational, Government, (National, State,
Municipal), Manufacturing, Retail, Historic.

Essential Skills (may include but are not limited to the following)
Prepare electrical designs for large and small scale projects
Apply design knowledge in power distribution, grounding, lighting, and
equipment specification and selection
Perform calculations and analysis to determine electrical load requirements
and circuitry design
Select appropriate components and materials for electrical systems,
considering factors such as cost, reliability, and efficiency
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in
electrical design
Prepare and estimate workload hours for formal proposal to clients
Supervise and direct a team of engineers, designers, and support personnel
Interact with all engineering disciplines, construction project managers, and
clients
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed
Essential Qualifications
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Revit for creating
electrical drawings
Must have advanced knowledge of electrical engineering and design and be
familiar with relevant codes, standards, such as NEC (National Electrical
Code) – design and layout
Ability to design efficient and reliable electrical systems for various building
types
10+ years of formal experience in electrical engineering design
5+ years as a project electrical lead designer
Educational or career track in electrical Engineering from an accredited
engineering school or company
Optional - Ability to become licensed as a professional engineer, by exam, in
state of residence with the ability to be licensed in multiple states.
Must have experience as a project lead on complex, multi-discipline
engineering design projects
Strong verbal and written communication skills required with the ability to
prepare written specifications and contract documents
