Completes child abuse andneglect investigations and recommends decision on substantiation ofchild abuse and neglect. Takes children into custody as necessary underChapter 48. Functions as Juvenile Court Intake Worker appointed by theCalumet County Court-Juvenile Division. Makes recommendations to Courton disposition of child protection and juvenile delinquency charges.Completes assessments for court as appropriate, and follows up oncourt-ordered services. Writes court reports, testifies in court andfollows up on court-ordered services. Provides communityeducation/consultation/intervention regarding Department services.Maintains case records containing pertinent, accurate and currentinformation; prepares correspondence, reports and other records asrequired. May be assigned to perform crisis on-call duty.
