The HR Generalist position channels staffing, employee relations, benefits, training, employee engagement, compensation, performance management tracking and a wide variety of other HR generalist activities.
Responsibilities
Supports traditional HR areas of employee relations, benefits administration, compensation/merit administration, HR compliance, wellness programs and employee activitiesDevelops and maintains strong partner relationships with management and all levels at the plant.Assists with identifying training and development needs within the plant through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with managers and supervisors.Creates an employer brand in the community that will serve our intense recruiting needs over the next few yearsMaintains high visibility to promote HR programs and assist management with effective facility wide communicationProvides continuous improvement of HR processesAssists with proper notification and filing of employee medical absence noticesPrepares documents for distribution on company bulletin boardsKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities, facilitate projects and business processes and work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative teamStrong collaboration and problem-solving skills requiredStrong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience creating reports from an HRIS strongly preferredQualifications
Bachelors degree required2+years HR experience preferredPHR certification preferredBilingual - Spanish a plus
