Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Business Analytics Engineer to join our team. This role will require 1 day a week on site at L'Enfant Plaza in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop architecture design for the prototype SAF/IE Dashboard. The prototype should showcase data captured from various data collection technologies to allow stakeholders to view progress towards SAF/IE goals for an area of efficiency (i.e., water consumption, IT energy use etc.).
Develop implementation plan for the technology to deploy to collect data, and metrics to use and display in SAF/IE dashboard.
Deploy sandbox technology infrastructure as needed to gather data for the dashboard.
Develop sandbox dashboard, encompassing the measured metrics from data points originating with the implemented technology.
Leads or mentors lower-level engineers.
Ownership of full life cycle of services/solution delivery for BI/analytics projects.
Collaborates with stakeholders in order to develop solutions to analytical problems and potential problems.
Lead customer meetings to understand, document, and prioritize data and BI/analytics requirements.
Configures analytics tools, develops the semantic layer and metadata, and creates reports and report definitions.
Designs QA programs for BI deliverables.
Creates test criteria and datasets for BI deliverables.
Tests reports using various databases, analyses, programs, and scripts.
Troubleshoots bugs/issues with existing BI solutions.
Modifies existing analytic solutions, BI reports and dashboards.
Provides end user support for production BI solutions.
Documents standards, policies, and procedures for the form, structure, and attributes of BI reports and dashboards.
Contributes to best practices and developer resources.
Designs curriculum, documentation and help desk capabilities for coaching end users in the use of BI/analytics solutions to enhance decision-making.
Leads or mentors lower-level engineers.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business.
5+ years of relevant experience.
4+ years of experience with BI tools/technologies.
1+ years of experience with SQL programming and data modeling.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Security Clearance Requirements:
US citizenship with the ability to obtain up to a public trust clearance.Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $84,900-$141,100. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
