MUST HAVE: Workday and I-9 experience
Description:
This employee will be working with the HR regulatory and compliance team.
They will have 2 main duties:
I-9 compliance
Reporting for the HR regulatory and compliance department
For the I-9 process, they will be responsible for pulling a report for incomplete I-9s within the allotted approval time.
Reach out to the hiring managers with a standard communication to get the I-9s completed.
Review the I-9s for validation and make sure there is the appropriate documentation and follow-up with hiring managers for the documentation if it is missing.
Assist in documenting SOPs (standard operating procedures).
The contractor will partner with the HRIS Workday Analyst on my team to support FedEx Services for Core Workday administration and enhancements.
This includes Workday functionality and enhancement for anything involving onboarding, hiring, terminations, job moves/changes, payroll changes, personal information, compensation etc.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in HR with onboarding and E-verify.
HRIS experience (Workday experience is preferred)
Intermediate experience with Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Good attention to detail, professionalism, strong customer service orientation, communication skills and works well with other, teamwork. are important
Workday administration experience; receive requests from areas to update information in Workday
Work with teams and management to understand business requirements and document those requirements for Workday enhancements
Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive data
Assist in creating SOPs and job aids as needed for business partners, management, and other consumers of Workday
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with leaders at FedEx
Strong Microsoft Office skills; especially Excel and PowerPoint
Analytical mindset and strong critical thinking skills
Strong attention to details
