Responsibilities:
Ensure that Unilever’s SHE Policy is effectively implemented and maintained in MCL and Lead to ensure that the Unilever SAFE Travel, WH, Logistics and Office SHE standard has been fully deployed to MCL Office, 3PL Logistics, WH in MCL and establish the procedure and SHE system approach for the SHE std deployment to the operations level.
Establish the SHE communication and training program related to GtM (Go to Market) scope and SHE Management System to all relevant employees, 3PL refer to the training plan and training matrix., and engagement activities to build the employee’s knowledge and SHE awareness.
Lead and drive the Safety Culture program and activities in MCL such as Safety Day, Road safety campaign, PCC (Positive Compliance Check) SBO (Safety Behavior Observation program), DCA (Deep compliance audit) Leadership engagement program such as the regular SHE inspection program and SHEPAR etc.
Ensure that all the relevant Safety Health and Environmental permit, license and its report are valid and governance including the new law and regulation that relevant to the MCL GtM has been fully implemented.
Ensure that SHE risk assessment, monitoring has been conducted, and develop the improvement plan to mitigate the risk in GtM scope e.g. the office IH monitoring, the Route Risk assessment, WH Risk assessment etc. Identify gap hazards and assess risks associated with Warehouse and Logistics and define risk control and safe working procedures.
Governance the CSHEC (Center Safety Health and Environmental Committee) and another sub-committee for MCL.
Lead the SHE checking or Verification process to ensure that 3PL Logistics, WH are follow and fully complied with the UL SHE Standards.
Lead the incident report, investigation for GtM MCL and ensure that the safety control is in place.
Completed the SHE reports and performance update such as monthly SHENET report, incidents, near misses, audit, investigation and report current issues for regional/global organizations.
Perform SHE inspection, internal and external audit align with the UL SHE std., local regulations and other requirements. And following up of the corrective action, action closure and reporting cover the activities.
Support and works with site lead teams to develop the local SHE Strategy and improvement plans in order to achieve sustainable SHE excellence by reducing injuries, illnesses and environmental impact as measured in the core Goal and objective. Where geographical proximity, size and complexity permit, this role may cover more than one site.
Manage the SHE budgets, and CAPEX related for the SHE improvement project for MCL.
Ensure that the SHE Life critical standards and SHE Standard related to GtM (Office, Logistics, WH) has been fully implemented e.g. contractor safety, electrical safety, working at height, permit to work, safe travel etc.
Assist the business leader for crisis committees and safety committee; support the site leader in leading serious incident investigation and analysis including to facilitate the BCP for MCL.
Develop and deploy internal SHE audits and inspection systems, participate in audits of other Unilever organizations as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Health and Safety
At least 5 years’ experience in Occupational Health and Safety management. (In Office safety, transportations, logistics or warehouse field would be an advantage)
Hold the Transportation Safety Manager license would be an advantage.
Experience in multinational company environment
Familiar with the Road Traffic Safety (ISO39001), Occupational health and safety management system (ISO 45001) implementation and maintain the system.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross functional teams.
Good communication in written and spoken English.
Good computer skills in Microsoft Office.
Ability to travel regularly across MCL site.
