　　Community Medical Center is seeking a Housekeeping Worker to join the team! This is a Full Time position.

　　Community Medical Center, an affiliate of RWJBarnabas Health, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County s largest and most active health care facility caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.

　　The Housekeeping Worker is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms, along with performing other cleaning duties as directed.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Clean and disinfect patient s rooms, bathrooms, and other areas of the facility in a timely fashion

　　Cleaning duties will include trash removal and disposal, sweeping, mopping, and other duties assigned according to hospital policies and procedures.

　　Must understand standard precautions and removal of medical waste, hazardous waste, and pharmaceutical waste

　　Ability to clean surgical equipment, surgical invasive areas, isolation areas and of off-site campus areas depending on shift

　　Must be able to work independently

　　Maintain adequate stock of supplies and chemicals

　　Lift, pull, push up to 50 lbs.

　　Prefer an understanding of following Joint Commission and DOH inspections

　　Requirements:

　　Hospital housekeeping experience preferred

　　Floor care experience preferred
