Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Manager in San Diego, CA.Summary:The Senior Manager of Internal Employee Communications will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our internal communication strategy. This role is responsible for developing and implementing communication initiatives that foster a sense of belonging, alignment with company values, and an open and inclusive corporate culture. The ideal candidate will be an experienced communication professional with a strong track record in employee engagement and internal communication strategies.Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Communication Planning: Senior Manager will develop and execute a comprehensive internal communication strategy that aligns with the company's goals and values
Employee Engagement: Create and maintain engagement programs, initiatives, and campaigns that keep employees informed, motivated, and connected to the company's mission
Content Creation: Produce accurate, engaging, and relevant content for various communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, emails, videos, and presentations
Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives by developing communication plans that minimize disruption and ensure smooth transitions
Leadership Communication: As a Senior Manager, you will collaborate with senior leaders to craft key messages and facilitate effective communication with employees at all levels
Feedback and Measurement: Implement feedback mechanisms to gauge the effectiveness of internal communication efforts and make data-driven improvements
Channel Management: Oversee and optimize communication channels, including the company intranet, social platforms, and other internal communication tools
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with People and Culture, marketing, and other departments to align internal messaging with overall company initiatives
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in internal communications, preferably in a leadership role
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management and organizational abilities
Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
A strategic mindset with the ability to execute plans effectively
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
