Monday-Friday 3:45pm-12:15am

The role of housekeeping in hospitals is to ensure that all areas, including examination and surgery rooms, patients' rooms, laboratories and public areas are kept clean and sanitary. Common hospital housekeeping duties include mopping, vacuuming and sweeping floors; cleaning windows and dusting furniture; washing and changing linens on patients' beds; and ensuring that all waste is disposed of properly. You can also expect to empty trash cans, replace the supplies in bathrooms and move items around as needed. Your cleaning duties will require a lot of time standing, as well as a lot of time bending and lifting things, so being physically able to perform these tasks is essential. For your safety, it's important to wear safety gear; to know how to operate equipment properly, and to know how to use the proper cleaning supplies to avoid injuries

Pay $17.40/hour. VCA offers full time benefits of health, vision and dental as well as a 401k.
