Partnering with the largest eCommerace company in the world looking for a Hardware Test Engineering Technician to join a growing team and help support their test engineering efforts here in Seattle, WA.
This person will be responsible for the following:
1) Charger evaluation: This person will work with vendors who distribute electric chargers. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with vendors to receive samples in the lab. Candidate would then be responsible for receiving the charger and setting up in lab. This entails reviewing manual, connecting to cloud, and connecting software backend, etc. The engineer will then be responsible for executing proper tests in accordance with vendor specification.
2) Technology evaluations: This team sometimes work with prototype products. In these scenarios, product would be received in the lab received in the lab and engineering technician will need to create test, and set up tests to test and validate chargers. Must have knowledge on what tests need to run and how to set those up in order to validate.
3) Software: Candidate will need some software experience in order to support the software team that sits in Bellevue, WA office. They will be the hands on eyes in the lab for these folks to test that software is running appropriately. Engineering will need to have some software scripting experience in Labview and be familiar with cloud, and backend software set ups.
This person must be ok with working with voltage up to 480v, AC 1000, and volt DC
