Position Summary/Description:
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
The Graphic Designer is a member of the External Affairs team at the Kenan Institute for Private Enterprise, and it supports the Institute through the creation of graphic and multimedia content for branding, web and communication products. This position works closely with members of the External Affairs team who create infrastructure and web content to help provide graphic design support for a variety of projects, including website and email marketing. This position utilizes a variety of software and web applications, such as Adobe Creative Suite, to create quality graphic and multimedia content to support the research and outreach needs of the Institute.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalency and two years of visual/graphic arts experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
