　　Vibra Hospital of Central Dakotas, located in Mandan, ND is a 41 bedCritical Care Hospital, providing long-term acute care services to patientsrecovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients requireadditional critical care services for medically complex conditions such astrauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease,stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specializedhospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly workenvironment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

　　Responsibilities

　　Responsible for technical, multi-skilled direct and indirect patient careactivities. Assigned to work under the supervision of a RN/LPN/LVN whodelegates tasks based upon patient needs and PCT/PCA skills and abilities.Will report all deviations from expected patient parameters to the registerednurse. Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basic nutrition andfluid intake. Recognizes emergency situations and responds.Required Skills:High School Graduate or equivalent required.Completion of an approved nursing assistant or PCT program or successfulcompletion of the Hospital's PCT training and orientation programCurrent BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.Additional Qualifications/Skills:Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Patient CareTechnician/Associate in the state of employment preferred.Ability to project a professional image.Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.Phlebotomy training and ECG training preferred.Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in theworkplace.Benefits
