Summary:

　　The Grain Merchandising Intern will be responsible for assisting the Grain & Supply Chain team with a variety of administrative and commercial-related activities.

　　Pay Grade: $23-$28 per hour.

　　Primary Duties:

　　New Crop Wheat Sampling Program

　　Organize and send out instructions to suppliers to send in wheat samples

　　Track sample requests to ensure compliance by suppliers

　　Collect and analyze quality data received from wheat samples

　　Map the flour quality results by region

　　Create a presentation updating the grain and sales teams on new crop wheat and flour quality

　　Wheat Market & Economic Analysis

　　Write daily market recap for sales, finance, and operations teams

　　Develop US wheat export analysis, with emphasis on Japan non-MAFF shipments

　　Develop automated USDA reporting in PowerBI

　　Review Miller Milling wheat and flour blends to ensure proper wheat hedging

　　Assist in specialty flour research and economic data by region

　　Administration/Other

　　Update supplier information in new CRM software

　　Track market prices of impactful items and present to sales and grain teams

　　Perform other duties as assigned.

　　Qualifications:

　　High School Diploma or equivalent

　　Working toward degree or strong interest in Agribusiness, Business, or related field

　　Strong attention to detail

　　Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

　　Strong verbal and written communication skills

　　Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
