Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in TIMONIUM, Maryland, United States. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be engaged in a variety of accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and auditing. You will also handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll through Paycom, month and year end close.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full charge bookkeeping duties

• Oversee journal entries and general ledger accounting

• Conduct reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records

• Implement compliance and auditing procedures

• Handle accounts payable and receivable operations

• Manage payroll operations through Paycom

• Oversee the accounting processes for the three brick bodies clubs

• Utilize Sage and other accounting software systems for efficient workflow

• Leverage Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook for daily tasks

• Execute billing functions and other accounting functions as required.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Knowledge of Billing Functions

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeper role or similar position
