Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Food Services Supervisor - to join our - team! Position Summary: The Nutrition and Food Service Supervisor supervises the activities of their direct and indirect reports to assure all activities in the Nutrition and Food Services Call Center, Kitchen, and Cafeteria provide high quality customer service and food products to our patients, visitors, and staff. This position includes hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, evaluation, and disciplining staff. Oversees operations, safety, continuous improvement projects, and compliance with HealthPartners and other regulatory agency standards. Work Schedule: FTE 1.0, Days / Evenings, Every Other Weekend, Rotated Holidays Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Hospital Nutrition Department Call Center, two years' experience in a foodservice, operation (healthcare desired). Must demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills. Registered Dietetic Technician, Dietary Management, or post-secondary nutrition education preferred. Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses: * Strong critical thinking, assessment, and problem-solving skills * Ability to direct and manage staff * Understands and applies teaching/learning principles * Works independently, as well as collaboratively, displaying effective communication skills * Supportive of team members * Works in concert with team members and kitchen and call center operations This position requires direct patient contact and demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
