Job DetailsJob LocationCleveland, OH 44103 - VSI - Cleveland, OHPosition TypePart TimeEducation LevelHS Diploma/GED Salary Range$16.00 - $16.00 HourlyTravel PercentageNoneJob ShiftOther - see details in job postingDescriptionLocation: Fairview Hospital Medical Office Building & Moll CenterShift: Monday-Friday, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pmFLSA: NonexemptThe Floor Technician will be responsible for performing the following job duties:Keeps floors of commercial facilities in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.Sweeps, strip, clean, buff and apply floor sealer and floor finish to hard surface floors.Vacuum and shampoo rugs and carpeted areas of the facility.Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, etc.Utilize the correct products and equipment needed for the job.Carry heavy equipment.Transport equipment from various locations as necessary.Maintain equipment and notify supervisor of any mechanical difficulties or improvements that need to be made.Take care of all safety precautions in the area so as to not cause any injuries to people walking on the floors or yourself.Notify your supervisor of any problems that arise at the facility or any work that is not completed by the designated deadline.QualificationsMust have High School Diploma; six month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must be able to pass background checks as required by site.As required by the customer, must be willing to get annual flu vaccine and submit to a TB test.Must have prior floor care experienceTo be eligible for hire, applicants must complete all application questions and sign the applicationVSI is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability & Veterans.VGS, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer/AA M/F/VET/DISABLED.
