　　Minimum Qualifications Current New York State employee with one year or more of qualifying permanent service in a position allocated to a Grade 20 or above and eligible for transfer under Section 70.1* of the Civil Service Law.*Proof of passing the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) Fundamentals in Engineering (FE) exam is required.ORMinimum Qualifications: To be considered for this vacancy, all interested candidates must complete the appropriate online exam by the applications due date of this posting. 　　Duties Description • Perform engineering duties related to a group of electrical systems projects.• Advise on electrical systems design or management of ongoing rehabilitation of existing electrical equipment.• Assist a higher-level professional engineer overseeing subcontractors or development of electrical specifications writing and estimates of work.• Evaluation operations problems in existing electrical systems.• May supervise consultant work.• Perform other duties as assigned.• Some travel may be required.
