The Wisconsin Child Welfare Partnership Development System ( WCWPDS ) is a major project unit housed within the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare ( HBSSW ) at UW-Milwaukee. In partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families ( DCF ) and the Wisconsin Child Welfare Partnership for Professional Development at UW-Madison, the WCWPDS -Milwaukee provides a full array of professional development and training services to the approximately 500 child welfare staff, supervisors and managers in Milwaukee as well as foster families and home visiting staff statewide. The WCWPDS team values inclusivity and diversity in all forms.
Job Summary
This position performs critical fiscal processes for each program under the WCWPDS umbrella. These functions include processing purchase orders, expense tracking, travel processing, preparing invoices, processing payments, maintaining inventory, and responding to customer requests. This position will also serve as the WCWPDS -Milwaukee financial staff supervisor, overseeing the work of two full-time financial specialists.
This full-time position allows for a hybrid schedule (in-office and remote), flexible scheduling and free on-site parking.
Minimum Qualifications
3 years or more experience completing fiscal procedures
1 year or more experience using Excel at an advanced level
2 years or more experience in a supervisory role
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in FileMaker
Familiarity with UW systems (Shop UW, WISER , WISPER )
Target Salary Range $65,000 (Final hiring rate to be determined based on experience)
