What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
Coordinate’s manufacturing schedules to meet customer demand
Consults with Supply Chain Manager and production leadership on matters of production control and staffing availability to eliminate scheduling issues.
Partners with purchasing team to ensure parts availability for orders released to production floor.
Releases final work orders for shop, per production schedule.
Releases and monitors sub assembly work orders.
Assembles packets, and distributes to area managers
Escalates inventory related problems, such as bill of material and routing errors, material substitutions and recommends solutions.
Plays a key role in maintaining data integrity in the manufacturing system’s database.
Creates and distributes production and sales order reports weekly.
Monthly Sales and Operations Planning presentation.
Prepares monthly whole goods forecast.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Supply Chain Manager.
Your Education Should Be…
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree highly desirable
APICS certification desirable
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
Possible travel to customers, vendors, or other Chart locations is possible
Production floor environment will involve possible exposure to materials with rough edges, temperature extremes, moving mechanical parts, occasional flying debris, chemical cleaning solvents and their odors.
Regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and talk/hear. This position requires employee occasionally to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
Your Professional Experience Should Be…
2 years of scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment (may substitute some experience with a bachelor's degree).
Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
Experience working with an MRP system, JDE preferred.
APICS certification desirable.
Proven ability to be a self-starter and work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills.
Team player mentality
