Our client in the Lower Fairfield, CT area has an Interim Financial Reporting Manager opening. The Interim Financial Reporting Manager will manage complex accounting transactions, conduct financial reporting and analysis, and handle SEC filings, among other duties. This is a contract employment opportunity that provides a chance to engage with different facets of the financial industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage technical accounting for complex transactions, ensuring compliance with US GAAP

• Oversee financial reporting and analysis, consolidating financial data as necessary

• Prepare and submit SEC filings in a timely and accurate manner

• Ensure effective communication with tax, audit, and SOX departments

• Draft and review memos related to financial operations and strategies

• Handle ASC 842 Lease Accounting tasks, ensuring accurate and compliant records

• Manage investment accounting processes, maintaining accurate records of all investments

• Utilize Workiva, Sage, and Excel for various financial operations

• Liaise with construction companies under the holding company for financial matters

• Oversee and manage financial reporting for three entities under the holding company.
