　　Our Engine Control Systems program office in Windsor Locks, CT currently have an exciting opportunity for an ECU (Engine Core Upgrade) and F135 Proposal Senior Manager.

　　The ECU/F135 Proposal Senior Manager will be responsible for leading our ECU (Engine Core Upgrade) and F135 proposal efforts, ensuring that we secure funding and contractual coverage for these high-visibility programs, the established F135 engine and its modernization to ECU.

　　This role involves managing proposal processes across a multi-functional team, ensuring that all proposal outputs are submitted on time. In this role you will be developing strategies, negotiating contracts and interfacing with our Pratt & Whitney and government customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), tracking progress, advising estimators, and mitigating risks. It also involves tracking metrics to identify process and strategy improvements.

　　As the Proposal Senior Manager, you will have exposure to senior leadership with the opportunity to interact and learn from them. In addition to working with multiple cross function team members and customers.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Develop project plans, schedules, and strategies for ECU & F135 contracting activities.

　　Identify adjustments to ensure adherence to the baseline delivery date via regular monitoring of the critical path to delivery.

　　Document issues, changes, and any other incidents which impact the scope of work or schedule.

　　Realize solutions to challenges with creative problem-solving ideas such as resource reallocations, schedule adjustments and specification modifications.

　　Status the customer on progress, jointly manage priorities and maintain open communication to understand their critical needs to thoughtfully allocate efforts across the support teams.

　　Explain estimating approaches and strategies to the support teams to maintain progress.

　　Review estimates for fidelity and ensure costs are properly represented to maintain the financial health of the business.

　　Track and report proposal metrics such as On-Time Delivery, Escapes and Turnback's then analyze these items for improvement opportunities.

　　Qualifications/ Experience Needed:

　　Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

　　The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
