  The Otis Americas Finance team is seeking a Financial Reporting intern to join the team in Summer 2024. This internship provides valuable exposure to the structure of our global finance organization while giving hands on involvement with a wide variety of financial and operational requirements. This internship will encourage early career talent to build on their skills, knowledge, and experience. The intern will work closely with our Finance team to deliver real results in the areas of financial reporting and controllership/audit.

  The intern will be responsible for delivering successful input and solutions for business-critical projects in the Financial Reporting team, focusing on the following:

  Accounting, Controllership and Audit

  Recording and processing of journal entries

  Analyzing fixed assets controls and verifying amounts are recorded in accordance with policy

  Assist in preparation of accounts reconciliation

  Preparing presentations on key deliverables to leadership

  These are full-time, paid summer internships, typically ranging from 10-12 weeks, starting in May/June 2024. Throughout your internship, we provide continuous training and performance feedback to ensure you develop the necessary skills to succeed. Additional career opportunities are available upon conclusion of a successful internship.

  Education / Certifications

  Current student pursuing an undergraduate degree, preferably in AccountingBasic Qualifications

  Excellent analytical and communication skills

  Proactive, results-driven, and detail-oriented

  Flexible and Adaptable individual who thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment

  Self-starter and be able to work with minimal direction

  Able to communicate a clear understanding of their subject matter, work in cross-functional teams, respect individual differences and welcome diverse thinking, and offer informed suggestions to improve processes

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  Experience in data analytics, preferred but not required
